Brand Design

Kapi & Co. is a conceptual branding project that pays homage to the rich heritage of South Indian filter coffee. The goal was to create a warm, culturally grounded brand that resonates with both nostalgic audiences and modern-day coffee lovers. Inspired by the aesthetics of brass tumblers, railway cafés, and handwritten Tamil signage, this project blends rustic textures, sustainable design principles, and poetic storytelling into a cohesive visual identity. I developed a brand strategy that centers on intentional living, tradition, and sensory connection—reflected through earthy color palettes, serif and sans-serif font pairings (Kadwa and Poppins), and packaging concepts rooted in eco-conscious practices. The moodboard and visual direction celebrate coffee not just as a product, but as a memory, a ritual, and a cultural anchor. Alongside logo design and product mockups, I crafted a social media presence that extends the brand’s voice through story-led copy and visual storytelling. This project allowed me to explore the intersection of culture and design while honing skills in brand strategy, typography systems, and digital presentation.
